It would be great to see this now after Hurricane Sandy 2012.

What is the pink building in the last one?

The pink one will be the new World Trade Center Building under construction now.

No shoreline damage from Sandy would be visible in this image. What's missing from this Brooklyn perspective are midtown's Empire State and Chrysler bldgs, the world's most iconic skyscrapers.

OMG - I just moved here and wanted to figure out where I am in the photo... So I started out looking at a Bing Birdseye View map - Holy cow. This is just the tiniest bit of Manhattan in between the Brooklyn Bridge and the Manhattan Bridge.
Thanks for posting it!

The New Building to replace the Trade Towers looks so much better than the Twin Towers. They always looked as if there was no thought as to design or anything esthetic.

I think the Towers ruined the New York skyline. The new building will add something nicer.

4 years ago I used fairy roses to landscape a small front garden belonging to a elder couple, who because of health problems found it hard to work in the garden as much as they used to. They wanted something that flowered all summer and was very low maintainance. Shade Trees For Sale
